Workwear pants. Slightly cropped, straight leg pants with buttoned side opening and waist cynchers. has one front pocket and two back pockets.

CP pants (we can’t remember why we called them that!). The most luxurious, relaxed and elegant Christmas trousers. Made using the softest, small batch production, sun-dried Japanese cotton velvet.

They feature a historical menswear front fastening, ticket pocket and side pocket designed to contain perfectly a mobile phone. The side fastening (which flattens the stomach), slight flare and cropped length ensures they flatter body.

CP pants velvet are available in a palette of two exquisite colours – a jet set jet black and a soft black olive (more green than black). The cotton velvet has been woven by a small, fair-trade, Japanese workshop. They describe it as ‘sun dried velvet’. 

A young textiles rep, who markets the work of specialist small Japanese textile makers, sent us samples during lockdown. He offered  fabrics that we had dreamed of using.

Sula is known for detail, hand-worked decorative and functional. These buttons are hand made by Vietnamese wood workers. Once they arrive in our workshop we individually hand-paint and and rub-away so that each button is unique.
