sula clothing is a sustainable independent british womenswear clothing company renowned for its commitment to slow fashion and fair trade. our garments are crafted from the finest, often hand-woven fabrics. silk cotton voile, japanese cotton twill, khadi cotton, and hand loom knitted cashmere. each piece is adorned with meticulous hand-finished details. often using cutwork embroidery, tea dyeing, and hand smocking, ensuring a unique, aged aesthetic inspired by vintage clothing but designed for modern comfort.

our new autumn winter 2025 collection is now live on our website.

we have named this collection ‘english weather’ though we could probably be more specific as the colours seem to be drawn directly from our studio window. the greeny grey sea, changing throughout the day until at dusk it takes on the solid silver reflection of the sky. when the sun goes down the sea below is an oily black pool lit by street lights. it is unsurprising that the working port outside our windows has influenced aw25 so directly as we adore our surroundings. our new collection features artisanal fabrics sourced mostly from italy and japan; a wispy organza (sheer silk) with a printed design of tiny geometric flowers is made into blouses, skirts and a dress with raw edged detailing.

we love the idea of creating clothes which have beauty held close by the wearer, secret little moments just for you. we used the most beautiful floral silk cotton used as a lining for our cuddle coat, hidden to the world until the wind blows and a corner flips up revealing the bright joyful flowers.
