sula is a hive of activity as we three women juggle work for three collections, past, current and future.
as we take delivery of, and check meticulously, our spring/summer 2026 production, we are cutting hundreds of fabric swatches (each fabric in each colourway) for buyers in london, paris and new york, where we are about to show the autumn/winter 2026 collection.
we provide line-drawings of each design, front and back, with details of fabric and colour options, sizes, wholesale and retail costs. (we spend ages conjuring evocative names for garments and colours)
and… at the same time we are testing the gorgeous new fabric samples selected from artisanal textile workers in japan and the uk, and exclusive italian mills, as they arrive for spring/summer 2027. we are working on patterns and manually costing styles to check the fabric ratings.
