our organic linen denim for ss25 is woven at a small mill in japan, it is floppity and has a beautiful spectrum of blues whites and greys running through it.
linen is one of the most naturally sustainable fabrics in the world. when linen is grown in ideal conditions it produces no waste, all parts of the flax are used. it is an incredibly old fabric, believed to have been invented around 10,000 years ago in ancient mesopotamia where it was used to make clothing.

linen is a renewable resource, as the flax plant can be grown repeatedly and far more frequently than other crops. the flax plant which linen is derived from requires far less water than crops like cotton in order to grow which again makes flax a more sustainable option.
all round linen is a wonderful choice for clothing, being durable, washable, breathable and sustainable, it is however labour intensive and harder to dye than cloths like cotton, this is what makes linen more expensive. overall we decided linen denim was a good choice for us to include in ss25.

the loose fitting boxy jacket has hand made button fastenings and a raw edge collar. the big stan jacket seen above is cut from fluid washed japanese linen twill weave denim. the inside of the jacket is bound in hand spun, hand woven, organic khadi cotton.
you can see big stan jacket styled with linen denim flare pants and clean shirt poplin (we have a few clean new shirts on our website in different fabrics)
flare pants are 70s inspired (think starsky and hutch) but with a much looser fit on the thigh, they are flat fronted with a wide waistband. eduarda wears the flare pants mid rise, however if you would like to wear them at your waist you can size down.
